EPQ ENTRY 6: Sketchbook and Phases

WEEK 1

Today I purchased a sketchbook from paperchase. I'll be using the to chart the progress of my EPQ as my project outcome will be an artifact so a more physical way of expressing the journey I'll be on towards my darkroom. Trying to explain my blueprints and imagery would be harder in a dissertation. To explain my ideas to their full potential I'd feel more comfortable doing it in this way. The only problem with this may be that I'd feel constricted as I'd be having to constantly chart my progress before moving on so it may take me longer to progress.

In case of this, I've added a free week to the end of each of my phases to act as a 'buffer week' in case my allotted time for that phase wasn't long enough. This would give me time to unwind and relax before starting the next phase hopefully giving me more energy and motivation with each phase beginning. This also allows me to spend time working on other unexpected clashes with my schedule including tasks for my subjects of Fine Art, Graphics and English Language as I can't predict future time constraints.
