EPQ ENTRY 10: Phase 1 Reflection

WEEK 4, PHASE 1

I have completed all tasks for the first initial idea phase of this project and am due to begin my second research phase in week six. When reflecting on this phase I am very happy with the progress. To start out my EPQ with no problems has made me very motivated and I am enjoying my project.

As a summary, I have decided that my project would be based on darkrooms with the outcome of producing a print. When summarising these ideas in a practise presentation my weakness is information content and successes are aesthetics and my interest in what I'm speaking about.

Phase two begins after the end of my last term of year twelve and will be done independently. In order to keep my motivation up I have pinned a copy of my calendar of phase dates onto a board in my bedroom. This serves as a constant reminder of my EPQ and its deadlines. I will reflect on whether this technique has proved to be successful further on into my project.
