WEEK 6, PHASE 2
Before I go to Mr Cad in London I am planning as much of the details of the meeting as I can, something I know that must be done when reflecting on my chance meeting with an expert in the field as I couldn't get as much useful information out of the exchange as I could have.
I've chosen to find another expert as having to travel to Kent University to interview the first expert would be difficult and costly. Instead, I hope that the interview with a professional who even sells darkroom kit may be even more useful to my project.
In preparation I've typed out and printed off a few questions which I still need answers to as I'm not clear on the topics after my initial research. They are as follows:
1) Would you be able to suggest brands of developer, stop and fix for a darkroom I’m constructing at home?
2) What brand of paper do you think is best, I have a tight budget so the cheaper the paper then the better.
3) What film brand is best for me?
4) Would you have any suggestions of books that I could learn more from about darkrooms or in particular about enlargement?
Interview Checklist:
- question print off
- recorder (on phone)
- map to Mr Cad
- train journey timings and platforms
I hope to report on these findings within the next few posts on my feed.
